December 2017 will mark the one hundredth anniversary of women voting for the first time in a Canadian federal election. Their Votes Counted is a fully-bilingual, travelling exhibition which seeks to commemorates this significant milestone in a Canadian history. This flexible exhibit has been designed with flexibility in mind and can be mounted in a series of configurations to accommodate a variety of spaces.

Their Votes Counted has been developed by the Victoria County Historical Society in partnership with the Canadian Nurses Association and was made possible by through generous funding from the Department of Canadian Heritage.

Décembre 2017 marquera le 100 e anniversaire de la première élection fédérale lors de laquelle les femmes ont eu le droit de voter. L’exposition itinérante Leurs votes ont compté souligne, dans les deux langues officielles, cet épisode marquant de l’histoire canadienne. Conçue dans une perspective de flexibilité, l’installation propose de multiples configurations convenant à une grande variété d’espaces.

La Société historique du comté de Victoria a conçu l’exposition Leurs votes ont compté avec le concours de l’Association des infirmières et infirmiers du Canada. Le projet a vu le jour grâce au généreux soutien financier du ministère du Patrimoine canadien.

EXHIBITION COMPONENTS

A minimum space of 22’ x 8’ is required for:

• • 1 free-standing vector frame panel: 95.35”w x 94.74”h x 19.69”d (double-sided)
• • 2 free-standing panels: 48.11”w x 94.74”h x 119.69”d (doubled sided)
• • 1 WWI Canadian Nursing Sister Uniform on free-standing mannequin form
• • 1 free-standing ballot box interactive with fillable 1917 ballots
• • This flexible exhibit has been designed with flexibility in mind and can be mounted in a series of configurations to accommodate a variety of spaces

L’EXPOSITION

Dimension minimale requise de 6,7 m x 2,4 m (22’ x 8’) pour:
